Big Ideas will begin accepting applications on October 1, 2019!

In the meantime, students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the numerous resources available to help you strengthen your application. Prospective applicants should carefully review the Big Ideas Contest application requirements and eligibility guidelines to ensure they receive the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Application Resources:

  1. Acumen Student Resource Center

Big Ideas applicants now have access to an extremely valuable resource for developing their early-stage ventures! The Acumen Student Resource Center is an online learning platform that aggregates resources from Acumen courses (such as videos, readings, and workbooks) to help students learn the skills needed to build a successful social enterprise.

  2. Big Ideas Workshops and Networking Events

Throughout the year, the Big Ideas Contest will host a number of workshops and events to guide students through the application process and help them hone their ideas. Most events and workshops will be live-streamed, and recordings will be made available immediately following each event.

  3. Advising Hours (Drop-in & Remote)

Applicants are invited to schedule 1-on-1 advising sessions with a Big Ideas program officer to get additional guidance and feedback on their ideas.
